2024 PedalPalooza Race Entry
We have four categories to choose from for Men and Women:
Pro, Expert, Sport, and Single Speed.
Pro, Expert, and Single Speed course is 30 miles; Sport course is 20 miles.
Pro and Single Speed have no age groups.
Pro = You know if you’re Pro
Expert = Cat 1 and will race in three groups: Under 40, 40-54, and 55+
Sport = Cat 2 and will race in 10-year age groups, including groups for U18 and U14
Single Speed = just that. If your bike has gears, it’s not a single speed
Racing age is defined as the age you will be on December 31 of the current calendar year.
There is NO e-bike category.
We have four categories to choose from: PRO, EXPERT, SPORT, and SINGLESPEED
SPORT - Race in your age class (10 year age groups) with medals for the top three finishers in each class. Sport races 2 laps for 20 miles.
PRO - As in Professional. Pro Men and Women will start first and have no age categories. Pros race 3 laps for 30 miles. Pros compete for prizes awarded to the top five finishers. If you have to ask if you’re a pro, consider Expert.
EXPERT - Our version of Cat-1. Expert Men and Women will start with the Pros. Experts race 3 laps for 30 miles. Experts compete for bragging rights and medals awarded to the top five finishers. There are three age groups in Expert:
U40 - Racers under 40 years old
40-55 - Racers age 40 to 54
55+ - Racers 55 years old and above
SINGLESPEED - If you ride a bike with only one gear, this is your group. Singlespeed races 3 laps for 30 miles.
